DUNHILL 14K GOLD JACKET ROLLALITE LIGHTER
Only the outer jacket is 14k Gold.                  Total weight is 77g
U.S. Pat. 2102108
Good working condition. Good flint. Needs service for a new wick.
This is a very rare lighter. The Dunhill name is spelled with one L. The Dunhill font is different.

I contacted Dunhill directly and they referred me to "
ARS & Elegant Lighters" for authentication. Their reply was that this is an
authentic Dunhill made in the U.S.A.
There was some contractual issues between Dunhill UK and Dunhill USA at the time this was made so they got around it by eliminating one L in Dunhill.
I got a reply from Vintage Dunhill Rollagas Collectors on FB. Their reply was that this is an authentic late 1940's to late 1950's 14k Gold Jacketed Dunhill Rollalite and that they had seen these before with one L.
I had three different jewelers inspect it and all three confirmed it is 14k gold Jacketed as marked.
Has some minor scratches. Unclear exactly what year it was made.
