These are tiny
& very
easily lost when someone is
rebuilding
the needle valve inner disk.
These springs are necessary in opening the needle valve when the lid is open thus allowing for gas to be made available to be lit and made a flame.
My springs are made from
stainless steel
and will not rust or corrode like the original. I find lighters frequently are missing this part.
In my experience mine
perform better than the original
. My springs fit perfectly in the base of the needle valve thus are less likely to crushed after placing the end base cap onto the valve.
