Gorham Centerpiece Bowl Vase No 2035 Sterling Silver 1893 Date Mark
Gorham sterling silver combination of a centerpiece bowl with trumpet vase. Bowl has fluted body with shaped edge and bead garland decorations along it; it stands on 4 figural foliate feet. Vase has fluted top border, body is decorated with foliate vines and bead garlands, convex base features repousse floral patterns. Marked 2035. Date Mark for 1893.
Weighing 262.4 grams or 8.46 ozs Troy, this spectacular piece measures: bowl is 5 3/4" in diameter and 1 1/8" tall, vase is 3 1/2" in top diameter and 4 1/8" tall; total height is 7 1/4".
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
