    Dunhill Service Lighter. Unfired w/ Original Box. WWII Era. NOS, Shows only minor “box”wear.
    Dunhill Service Lighters were widely used by servicemen in all branches of the US military during the 1940s. This particular one has a less common, navy-grey flat finish. There are a couple tiny spots where paint appears to have rubbed against the box, otherwise the paint is near perfect. While I have not attempted to spark the lighter, the flint tube appears to be clear. Even the original gasket on the fuel filler cap still looks like new. The box, on the other hand, is in fair condition at best with some tatters on the end flaps.
    Comes with velvet-lined display card. Would make a great addition to a lighter or military collection.
