Dunhill Art Deco Sterling Silver, Enamel & 14Kt Gold Cigarette case

Description

On offer is an original Art Deco black enamel over Sterling Silver Cigarette Case with insert 14Kt Gold bands, the design of which is on both sides of the case.  This cigarette case is of the highest quality
The black enamel is set off by of the alternating rose gold and yellow gold bands which surround the case.
Excellent condition with no damage to the enamel..
Marked ÄLFRED DUNHILL LONDON, NEW YORK, PARÏS" on the rim so post 1924.  Probably dates to late 1920's.  Also marked "Sterling 14Kt"on the inside of the cigarette clasp which itself still retains its original spring action.  Also has "H.W.T" monogram.
Also has a wonderful gilded interior.
Comes with pouch which may be original.
Weights 170.4 Grams and is 4 5/8 inches long x 3 inches x 3/8 inches.
