4092 Large Red Oak box newel posts
have a pedestal size of 7-1/2 inch x 7-1/2 inch and an overall length of 55 inches.  Pedestal wall is 3/4" with the main shank at 6 inches net.
The 4092 Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance.
Red Oak is an in stock product and generally ships in about 2 to 3 business days.  This item is also available as a half-sawn box newel post with an 8 to 10 business day lead time to ship.  Note:  Half-Newels cannot be returned.
Box newels are shipped unfinished, ready to stain.
